Instruments
Primary:
Piano
Grade 10 RCM, working toward ARCT in performance. Studied with Gwen Beamish at Western University. Played for 20 years.
Secondary:
Brass
Played trombone through university for several classes as well as played it with band in practicum. Some experience on trumpet. French horn class in university.
Woodwinds
University class on clarinet and oboe. Self-taught on flute. Some experience on saxophone.
Guitar
Experience with acoustic and electric reading tablature and traditional sheet music.
Percussion
Played mallet percussion through high school. Experience with hand drums, drum kit, and auxiliary percussion, all played in practicum.
Strings
University class on cello. Some experience on violin and double bass.
Voice
Sang in choirs since I was small. Sang in two choirs during university: St. Cecilia Singers and Chorale.
Stage Experience
Performing:
During highschool I played in concert bands, jazz band, and pit band. During university, I played piano solo and in duos. I also accompanied other instrumentalists.

Conducting:
Took two instrumental conducting classes during university. Conducted band during practicum, including in the December concert.
